It is a truly experimental project, in which the protagonists are completely free to take pictures of themselves in the most personal and unconventional way. I only explained them the technical details (the use of the small flash machine they handle, which takes the picture through a infrared system). I wanted to have nake portraits in black- and-white, so not to have a mask or elements like eyes or hair to filter emotions: the models could comunicate their personality only through their staying on the set, with their attitude and gesture.
